Maximize Prime Day (July 8–11): Your Checklist for Success from Pulse Seller

Prime Day is one of the biggest sales events of the year—and it’s happening July 8 to 11. If you're selling on Amazon, this is your chance to drive serious visibility and revenue. At Pulse Seller, we work with sellers like you to fine-tune strategy, fix hidden issues, and unlock growth. Below is your Prime Day checklist—packed with tips we use across our client accounts to help them win big.

(And if you want a second set of eyes on your account, we offer free account reviews and strategy calls—just scroll down.)

Watch Your Deals Dashboard Like a Hawk

Deals can be suppressed before they even go live—often due to inventory, SKU changes, pricing, or compliance hiccups. Don’t let that catch you off guard.

Here’s what to do:

  • Log into Seller Central
  • Navigate to Advertising → Deals
  • Look for red-highlighted fields in your suppressed deals
  • Make the required edits to get them reactivated

We catch these issues early for our clients to avoid any last-minute panic.

Do: Quality Check Your Deals and Product Pages

Polished listings convert better—especially during high-traffic events like Prime Day. Here’s what to review:

  • Main product images should be on a clean white background
  • Bullet points should clearly communicate the product’s features and benefits
  • If you're brand registered, check your A+ content—this is key real estate for telling your brand story and increasing trust

Need help with listing optimization? We do that too.

Don’t: Change Your Price Manually

Amazon will automatically apply your submitted deal price when the promotion goes live. If you manually change the offer price, your deal could become suppressed for not meeting the minimum discount criteria. Hands off the pricing—unless you're sure of what you're doing.

Use PEDs or Prime Member Coupons for Non-Deal ASINs

If you have ASINs that aren’t eligible for traditional deals, don’t leave them behind:

Both options are easy wins we often recommend in our client strategy sessions.

Review the Prime Day Readiness Playbook

If you haven’t already, check out Amazon’s Prime Day Readiness Playbook. It’s full of key dates, ad tips, and storefront prep suggestions. We keep this playbook close when planning with our sellers.
